Just make sure not to stand in the radioactive goop.

Finding Jasmium Crystal in Dune: Awakening is one of the most significant hurdles you'll face as you progress toward the endgame. You'll need Jasmium (along with Aluminum Ingots) to craft Duraluminum at a Medium Ore Refinery. These ingots are crucial for creating your first, basic Spice Refinery and the Cutteray Mk5.

However, before you start collecting these raw materials, you must navigate some hazardous environmental conditions. To ease your late-game grind, I'll provide some pointers on preparing to farm this essential mineral, including where exactly to find Jasmium Crystals in Sheol.

Jasmium Crystals can be located in Sheol, specifically along the southern central part of the region.

As long as you're adequately equipped to handle the radiation and have at least an Industrial Cutteray Mk4, gathering Jasmium should be manageable.

It's simplest to enter Sheol using an Ornithopter from the world map—I prefer approaching from around the 7-8 o'clock direction in the southwest.

Keep an eye out for large crystals in pools of yellowish-green goo; that's Jasmium.

And remember, don't step into the goo unless you have to get close enough to mine. It raises your radiation level to level 3, making the situation extremely hazardous.

Jasmium Crystals weigh quite a bit, so farming substantial quantities with just a Cutteray won't be easy. I've included additional tips at the end of this guide to boost your haul, but this information will suffice initially.

If you've accidentally wandered into Sheol without proper preparation, you're likely familiar with radiation's nasty side effects. Beware, lingering too long can result in death.

Before embarking on any Spice-fueled expeditions into the southwestern Hagga Basin, ensure you're equipped with:

Industrial Cutteray Mk4 – This Aluminum-grade Cutteray is the earliest model capable of mining Jasmium Crystals.
Radiation Suit Mk4 – This suit is the initial protective gear available and costs 20 research points. You'll find it listed on the combat page of the Research Tree, alongside other Aluminum items. More advanced models with better protection are also available as you progress.

I'd also recommend using an Ornithopter for your initial trips to swiftly enter and exit radiated areas. You might also consider bringing Iodine Pills, though their recipe requires Duraluminum, which you may not have immediately. It's not crucial, as your Ornithopter can provide quick enough transport whenever your radiation levels rise too high.

Make your Jasmium Crystal farming easier

When it's time to get serious and maximize your Jasmium harvesting, here are additional tips to boost your yield per trip:

Survey Sheol thoroughly for efficient map usage. The map above indicates a spot I've identified as ideal for launching a survey probe from sufficient height.
Construct a secondary base on the edge of the radiation zone for processing and storing Jasmium. This setup makes quick mining runs more efficient, reducing travel times.
Utilize a Buggy to increase your carrying capacity, keeping it parked at your base. It won't shield you from radiation, but your protective suit should be adequate.

💡
Minor Tip: If you get a Sandstorm warning while in Shoel, hop back into your Ornithopter and fly to the closest map edge. You will return to the Overland map. Fly to another part of Hagga Basin or elsewhere. This is a good way to escape an oncoming storm.
